Bathing Suit

A bathing suit is intended to be worn while participating in water sports and activities. Exciting water activities include swimming, water polo, diving, surfing, and water skiing. Examples of bathing suits are boardshorts, jammers, swim trunks, briefs, “speedos” and thongs. Most people in today’s society want the most sun exposure with the least coverage. A special bathing suit can be crafted for competitive swimming. These special bathing suits can reduce skin drag and can resemble a unitard.

A bathing suit can range from outfits that completely conceal the body to suits that expose as much skin as possible, as long as the design follows community principles. In many countries, a number of women choose not to wear or not allowed to wear a bathing suit. The first style of the bikini was launched after World War II. The popular one-piece bathing suit still remains as a fashionable style of swimsuit. Some people still choose to wear clothes rather than swimsuits or whatever they feel more comfortable wearing.
